How come I feel like I have lots to share and no time since i'm at the library? It's frustrating.

For all interested peeps, the interview went well. Tho, I won't even hear anything until mid-December. So, I'm back to square one with the hope that Great American will call and give me an early Christmas gift.

Ben and Ruthie find out if they are having a boy or girl today. I think that our whole group is super excited to find out. :-) It's pretty cool.

Interesting conversations about God and church-y stuff lately. I feel like good changes and actual healthy progress is being made in my life.

Brutal honesty is what she offered and the pain of too many years of silence flowed forth. Imagine a match being lit in a dark room. It doesn't give off enough light to reveal the room's contents, but, it does begin to reveal the rough edges.

So, I've actually been working for the last 2 1/2 weeks... I worked for Huff Realty and was able to make a really good contact. She is an amazing person and she just happens to have worked at Great American for something like 19 years. She forwarded my resume on to some of her friends that still work there. Plus, the same day that she did that an old co-worker from GA called me and said that they are hiring again and they thought of me for a position (she still works there) and wanted me to fax her my resume. We shall see how things go. If I'm able to get hired back on there I would be super thrilled!

Lots and lots of stuff is going on lately. I think every weekend in December I have something planned. Most of it is wedding stuff. (no, not mine!! geez, you'd think I would've told you that!!) Anywho, I have no idea what I'm gonna do when Christine isn't here.

whew!!!

It has been an extremely busy week for me and this weekend is going to be no different. Thankfully, tonight I am chillin' at Tara's with the Toby. He's a super cute dog. :-) I guess if I can't have my own dog (or cat) then I can love my family and friend's pets. I'm pretty sure that I didn't get the job at Verdin. I'm ok with it, but I just need to find something else soon. I hate not feeling like I have any stability. However, (I can't believe I just typed that) things are going well with the temp job. They seem to be pretty pleased at everything I'm doing. I have had to wear nice clothes, look presentable, and get up early. But, I am actually feeling productive and I really enjoy that feeling.

I am helping my dad move his girlfriend (of less than like 2 months!!) into his place Saturday morning. I'm a little uneasy at all of this. Not that I can really do anything about it...I'm just sayin'. My soon to be sister-in-laws had a little chat about things last weekend. I think I've just now realized that I'm excited that they are both in my life to have as sister-in-laws. This is a whole new feeling. It is nice to have some girls in the family now. We take up for each other. :-)

It is hard to believe that November is already here. I don't like knowing that my best friend is going to be moving to another country in less than two months. Not fun.

I'm reading Blue Like Jazz. Have I've mentioned that already? Anywho...so far, so good. I think I've realized why it takes me so much longer to finish books like these. (meaning more "churchy" type books...bad description, but, hopefully you know what I mean) My conclusion is that it just takes longer to process.

I'm gonna stop rambling now. I hope I get to spend time with you soon. :-)
